Regarding the Student Dormitory 2 Public Space Improvement Project, the university has suspended the tender process and is currently applying for project modifications with the Ministry of Education.
According to the updated timeline, renovation work for the 2026 academic year will be limited to the 1st floor and the 2nd-floor public terrace. Plans for floors 2 to 18 will be determined based on the review of the project modification. If any bedrooms still need to be converted into public spaces, the construction will be rescheduled for the summer of 2027. All other renovation items will be carried out under the principle of minimizing any impact on students.
Consequently, the approximately 700 bed spaces previously announced as closed on March 31 will now be fully reopened for residency.
