Student Dormitory Deposits

Student Dormitory Deposit: Each resident is required to pay a student dormitory deposit of NT$1,500 per semester, as well as for winter and summer vacations, to secure their bed space.
The student dormitory deposit system is designed to encourage students to take care of public property and develop good living habits, thereby enhancing the overall quality of dormitory life. The procedure is as follows:

  • 1. Each student must pay a student dormitory deposit of NT$1,500 for every semester, winter, and summer vacation.
  • 2. After moving into the dormitory at the beginning of each term, students are required to check the condition of the dormitory equipment using the Inventory Checklist, and sign to confirm its completeness.
  • 3. At the end of the term, upon moving out, the Student Dormitory Committee or relevant staff will inspect the equipment and environment, take photos as evidence, and record any deductions and their amounts (including any unpaid utility or air-conditioning fees) on the Inspection Checklist.
  • 4. In the student dormitory application system, students must enter their own postal account number (7 digits), account number (7 digits), or bank account information, including bank and branch codes (7 digits) and account number (10–14 digits).
  • 5. After collecting the deduction data from each dormitory manager, a summary of deduction details by bed space will be published online for students to review. If there are any questions or concerns regarding the deductions, students must contact their dormitory manager within the designated time to inquire and request corrections. Once the corrections are completed, the refund process will begin. The administrative refund process takes approximately one month.
  • 6. Deductions and refunds are calculated separately for each semester, summer, and winter vacation.
