Housing Deposit

Each resident is required to pay a housing deposit of NT$1,500 per semester, applicable also for winter and summer vacations, to secure their bed space.
The housing deposit system is designed to encourage students to cherish public property and develop good living habits, and ultimately elevate the overall quality of dormitory life. The procedures are as follows:

  • 1. Each student must pay a housing deposit of NT$1,500 for every semester, winter break, and summer break.
  • 2. Upon moving into their rooms at the beginning of each semester, students must inspect the condition of all public facilities and equipment against the Inventory Checklist, and sign it for verification.
  • 3. Upon moving out at the end of the semester, the Student Dormitory Committee or authorized staff will inspect the facilities and room environment. Photographs will be taken for record-keeping purposes, and any deductible charges, including outstanding shared electricity or air-conditioning fees for the room, will be recorded on the Inspection Checklist.
  • 4. In the student dormitory application system, students must enter their own post office account number (7 digits), account number (7 digits), or bank account information, including bank and branch codes (7 digits) and account number (10–14 digits).
  • 5. After compiling the deductible data from the dormitory managers, the individual charges for each bed space will be posted online for students to check and review. If there are any questions or concerns regarding the charges, students must contact their dormitory manager for clarification and corrections within the designated timeframe. Once the corrections are completed, the refund process will begin. The administrative refund process takes approximately one month.
  • 6. Deductibles and refunds are calculated separately for each semester, summer break, and winter break.
